D'Espresso New York

July 23, 2013

D’Espresso Cafe New York takes the ordinary and turns it upside down. Inspired by the New York public library, the space is lined in a sepia-toned full size photograph of books printed on tiles. The floor shifts to the rear wall, the library stacks shift to the floor, ceiling and outer walls, and the library ceiling becomes the back of the bar, where coffee and sandwiches are prepared.
